This module provides all commands
of the earlier modules A - H
The command group can be selected via a switch.
Each modul has eight pathes to send commands to the cars.
Every car react at those commands independend of its DCC adress.
Its so easy. Choose another configuration via the switch and
the module sends immediately the selected block of eight commands.

Only a IR-LED and a resistor is used to send the commands
to a car.
After powering on the module sends all eight commands continously.
Usage of the Function-Module without a DCC-Station:
The modul generates a pulsed IR-Signal at each connector. With
an additional switch or relais contact those signals can be
toggled ON or OFF. The resistor regulates the intensity of the
signal.
Usage of the Function-Module with a DCC-Station:
Each of the eight pathes can be switched on or off by a DCC-Station.
All of the LEDs connect to one path are switched off.
The Function-Module reacts like a junction decoder with eight
adresses.
By pressing the button at the module is going into a learning
modus.
If a button is pressed at the DCC-Station to switch a junction,
this adress is accepted from the module.
Pressing the button again at the module save this adress permanently.
Please note to use all the time blocks of eight coherent adresses
!
e.g. 1 - 8, 9 - 16, 17- 24 ....
Please use always the first adress of those group for learning.
Mounting of the Infrared-LEDs:
The Infrared-LED mounted along, over or within the road in such
a way, that the head sensor at the car can receive the function.
The LED should always be aligned , that it can be seen from the
car.
Depending on the resistor, the car should react on the signal
at 3 to 5 inch.
Sometimes it is not possible to mount the IR-LED
without influence a car at the parallel lane.
In this case the value of the resistor may be increased or the
IR-LED is mounted on top of the road.

This soldering bridge is neccesary
for correct function!

Connection of the Infrared LEDs:

Resistor 100-470 Ohm.
The resistor regulates the distance on which a car reacts on the
commands from the modul.
